From our Florida roots

The idea for Milwaukee Beer Gear was brewed in Florida. In December 2013 we found out that Zach was going to be relocated to Tampa for work so in March 2014 we made the trek down to the sunshine state. We had both lived in Wisconsin our whole lives and were excited to venture out and explore our new home.

Living in Tampa really pushed us out of our comfort zones. We started new jobs, tried new activities and traveled to new places. We got our cats (Jax and Paisley), tried stand-up paddle boarding, had many beach days, found a Packer bar, went to Disney World, sat on an alligator (Amanda), went to pirate festivals, traveled to Savanah, Charleston, Ireland, Mexico and the Bahamas, tried many local breweries, got engaged (!), and so much more.

We also made amazing friends. Some of our best friends (and family) still live in Florida and just experienced Hurricane Irma. Some have evacuated and others have stayed put, but either way, a lot of damage hit our former home. Luckily everyone we know remained safe during the storm. We wish there was more we could do to help our friends and everyone in Texas and Florida, but to start, we decided to donate a portion of our proceeds to help those in need. We will donate 20% of every sale to One America Appeal for hurricane relief.  Thanks for your support!
